"My work explores feminine themes of body image, identity and isolation. It is often the visual expression of my personal struggle to accept my body, understand myself, and define my role as a woman in today's society. Each goddess appears alone with only her respective symbols for company-a prisoner of her identity and role, repeatedly performing her symbolic tasks. Those elements parallel the private aspects of me as an artist and a woman."
